Crash, a tv addict's weekend and some thoughts

Haven't watch "Brokeback Mountain" but the media overload has more or less broadcast most of the movie , have to admit I prefer "Crash" despite having only watched the movie on a 15 cm screen that was all the more jerky due to turbulence . And that preference had nothing to do with Matt Dillon.

Granted that "Brokeback Mountain" is one of the few "gay issues" movies that isn't all about AIDS and effeminate men , it's nothing new . "Crash" despite all the trite 6 degrees of seperation plot and twists actually explores race and prejudice from some fresh angles


Saw the season finale of Gilmore Girls - the quirky characters are a hoot but if Picket Fences is oatmeal loaf ( serious quirky ) , this is more sugary cupcake

League of extraordinary gentlemen reminded me why Wilde's Dorian Gray is freakier than Poe's Monkey Paw, besides most of your storybook heroes in one movie -great !

Men suddenly in black was funny, sending up all those gangster themes and Boston Legal was hilariously sleazy
